  • 2 packs of gelatin (recommend not using sugary Jell-o packs)
  • 1/2 cup of Boiling Water
  • 1/2 cup of liquid soap
  • Silicon shape trays, or ice cube trays.
  • Optional: Essential oils for scent and soap dye for color.

Directions:

  1.  Dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water.
  2. Add liquid soap and optional scent and/or color.
  3. Pour into trays/molds.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to solidify.

- Soaps can last approximately 2 weeks if stored in a container in the fridge.

- Use as you would any other soap.

Squishy Soap

You need:

  • 1/2 cup cornstarch.
  • 1/8 cup pure Castile soap or really any liquid soap/bubble bath you have around the house.
  • 4 tsps of oil.
  • Optional: Essential oils for scent and soap dye for color.

Directions:

  1. Combine ingredients in a bowl with mixing tool and then hands as it combines better (add more cornstarch if too sticky or soap/oil if too dry)
  2. Fold in optional scent and/or color.
  3. Kids can play with it like play dough in the bath or at the sink.
  4. Tear of small pieces to use under water as soap.
