With the Stay Home, Stay Safe order in Michigan being extended, traditional summer camp is not going to operate business as usual. Not wanting kids to miss out on yet another event a group of Michigan teachers, pastors, higher education professional, and parents joined forces to create Mi Summer Camp @ Home. Knowing that parents DO NOT want another virtual task to complete the goal of the camp is to keep the screen time minimal and the completing of engaging tasks and activities in campers own backyard the greater portion of the day!
Mi Summer Camp @ Home is offering four themed camp weeks for elementary kids to enjoy! Camp weeks offer FIVE jam-packed days of activities including: Camp Pastor Time, crafts, snack ideas, water games, activities, STEM enrichment, yo-yo skills, theme printables (for rainy days), campfire songs, and more! Camp weeks will run from June 22nd through July 17th.
The adventure awaits with exciting themes that include Dinosaurs, Storybook, Space, and Superheroes. Best of all, Michigan teens will serve as counselors and check in (virtually) on campers during their week of camp. Each camper will receive a water bottle and the opportunity to earn badges (stickers) to place on their bottle after completing each day's activities!
