Books for Parents Who Want to Talk to Their Children About Racism

Available at the Ann Arbor District Library

By Nicole Barragato, Publisher, Macaroni Kid Ann Arbor June 13, 2020

It is important that we expose our children to diverse toys and books because it represents the true landscape found within our community. This will help the lines that separate "us" from "other" to fade away. I recognize that books are not the only way to go about this work, but at least it is a free local resource for parents to provide a launching off pad for more meaningful conversations.
