🌈 WEEKLY UPDATE ☀️ |
This week I am so thankful for grandparents! First, my parents were able to come and take a bedroom furniture set off our hands to create a space for homeschooling this fall. They also brought homemade banana bread with them which is an obvious bonus! Then my in-laws watched the girls for an entire 24 hours which meant date night and a Saturday full of errands (I know adulting is so thrilling).
I am starting to come to terms with COVID sticking around this fall. At first I thought I only needed to make it to summer, then I moved the goalpost to fall. Now I have decided to not put a time limit on it but rather just try and be content with the present situation. I have officially decided though if COVID is sticking around come October 1st I am putting up my Christmas tree. This is only a month earlier than when we usually do but I want an additional month of music, cocoa, and glitzy lights! Yes it will be confusing when trick-or-treaters come to my door but who knows that might be social distanced as well 🤷♀️
