Playground of the Week: Kelly Park

Kelly Park is a .54-acre undeveloped park with a concrete walk connection from Patricia Avenue to Abbot School. This neighborhood park is small, but is great for younger children learning climbing and playground skills.

PARKING 

  • Parking is available on the road along Patricia Ave.

SPECIAL FEATURES & PLAYGROUND NOTES

  • The playground includes a small structure that has three small slides.
  • Bright colors make this park very friendly and it is well maintained.


  • There are only 2 baby swings which again makes this ideal as a first park for smaller children.
  • The park includes stumps for jumping across which quickly became a favorite.



  • Playground is covered in mulch throughout.
  • There is a nice field between Kelly Park and Abbot School.

  • There is one bench and one picnic table.

  • No bathrooms available.

  • No trails available at this park.
