Playground of the Week: Maryfield Wildwood Park

Maryfield Wildwood Park is a 4.55-acre neighborhood park between Westwood, Linwood and Maryfield. This neighborhood park is a decent size providing ample shade and beautiful flowers.

PARKING 

  • Parking is available on Linwood, Westwood, and Maryfield streets.

SPECIAL FEATURES & PLAYGROUND NOTES

  • The playground includes a medium structure which includes slides and monkey bars.
  • The park is well shaded and is surrounded by a beautiful neighborhood and wooded area.


  • There are 2 baby and 2 regular swings.
  • The park includes a ball game, but you must bring your own ball to play.
  • There also is a merry-go-round, but that is currently closed off.



  • Playground is covered in mulch throughout.
  • Half basketball court and a baseball diamond.





SEATING

  • There are 4 benches and 3 picnic tables.





BATHROOMS & OTHER AMENITIES 

  • No bathrooms available.
  • Drinking fountain is available, but currently turned off.





TRAILS

  • The park features a wooded ravine with a woodchip trail running through the center that connects to Wildwood Street.
