🍂 WEEKLY UPDATE 🏈 |
Wow I cannot believe that I am already writing another weekly to you all. This past week just flew by... Between doctor appointments, new lessons starting, traveling, and my oldest turning five, I blinked and the week was over! I think we only squeezed in one day of official homeschooling last week, so hopefully we don't have too many busy weeks like that again.
Time is moving so quickly and I am having a hard time keeping up. I remember in college thinking that time was going fast, oh did younger more naive me have little clue of what being busy and time moving quickly actually felt like.
This week is also very exciting for me because my family made not one, but two new family friends! Yay! Moving here in November, then winter, then COVID has made making new friends seem super impossible so I am so excited by these new friendships! One is a neighbor and the other was a mom that I bumped into at the store and we quickly decided that we both needed more friends as she had recently moved here as well. Don't you just love moments when you put yourself out there and the feeling is reciprocated back to you and you don't feel like a total creeper?
Honestly though making friends is difficult. Finding family friends even more difficult. Finding family friends during a pandemic? Well that can seem downright impossible. So I hope that this will encourage you, if you are in the same boat of trying to make new friends in this difficult time, to keep searching because there are other people who also are seeking community.
