Fall in the Mitten is always one of my favorite times of the year! From the mosaic landscape of fall leaves to cozy cups of apple cider, there is something magical about all things fall. Another favorite pastime in the fall is to carve pumpkins, but in order to do that you first need to pick the perfect pumpkin. Macaroni Kid is here to help with the ultimate list of local U-Pick Pumpkin Patches. While there, be sure to enjoy other favorite fall activities like corn mazes! Before heading out it is always good to plan ahead and double check the hours of operation or if you need tickets ahead of time. Wiard's Orchards Country Fair, an Ypsilanti staple, has been family owned and operated since 1837. MacKid Pro Tip: Schedule a homeschool tour during the week. There were less people and we had a great time! The cost is $10/per person and includes picking 4 apples, a medium pumpkin, wagon ride, farm playground, and a cup of cider and a donut!
